Hello ifeminists:
A gracious good Tuesday to all. August seems to be the slowest month in
all things, perhaps because so many people are on vacation. Traditionally,
it is also the worst month for donations and funding. So ... if you are able
to ... send a few dollars our way!
<> for credit cards; call (312)
494-9440; email <info@free-market.net>; send a check or money order to The
Henry Hazlitt Foundation, 401 N. Franklin St., Suite 3E, Chicago, IL 60610,
marked "for ifeminists". Contributions are tax-deductible. Thanks!
The new editorial for this week, "The Silence Surrounding RAWA" by me
<http://www.ifeminists.com/introduction/editorials/2002/0820.html> has been
posted. If it looks a little lonely up there ... well, August is a slow
month. Remember that I encourage readers to send in their material.
<mac@ifeminists.com>
Take a minute and check out discussion on the ifeminists.com BB
<http://www.ifeminists.com/interaction/forum/feminism0208c/index.html> where
members are discussing the "latest commercials attacking male body odor" and
"teen mothers and entitlement." Lurk or join the discussion ... both are
encouraged.
People have asked about the chat room: to wit, "what's happened to the
weekly Sunday e-gatherings?" The e-gatherings will resume in September.
Watch for the notices.
Now ... onto the main event...

Commentary on Ann Coulter
----------
Women's eNews
by Carla Rivers
A right-wing, liberal-hating, miniskirted, mean pundit owes

Coulter to take her stands. (08/14/02)

Feminists who fake it
----------

by Marni Soupcoff
"The college feminists at Stanford and elsewhere weren't
relying on their own imaginations to come up with
far-fetched womyn's issues and illogical excuses to
blast conservatives (a.k.a. the man). There is, as I
recently discovered, a feminist web site that does all
that hard work for them." (08/15/02)
