Hello ifeminists:

Several father's rights advocates effectively debunked the California
NOW "Family Court Report 2002" that aimed at reforming the family court
system in order to root out alleged anti-woman bias. It was so effective
that the Report has become a PR disaster for CANOW and PC feminism. Since
the battle was joined by ifeminists through the "ifeminist" column on FOX
News, much of the furious backlash has been directed this way. Hmm...I guess
we are having an impact. At least, judging from the virulence of the
backlash. Judge for yourself. <http://www.free-market.net/rd/46312943.html>

The ifeminists main BB is bubbling along and bursting at the seams so
that archiving has become a weekly event. What's being discussed? Well for
one thing, Mrs. du Toit is quite properly admonishing us to use proper
methodology in presenting evidence and arguments lest we become CANOW-like.

9.html>. Sarah Baker is ... on second thought, if you want to know what
Sarah is saying, drop on by. Lurkers are welcome.

The editorials have been posted on the front page: "It is Time to
Privatize Marriage" by me
<http://www.ifeminists.com/introduction/editorials/2002/0716.html>; and,
"'Virtual Visitation' is no Substitute for a Father" by Glenn Sacks and
Dianna Thompson
<http://www.ifeminists.com/introduction/editorials/2002/0716a.html>.

Fair warning ... the InsiderUpdate will not be shipped out next week
because I will be out of town, lecturing.

      Now...onto the main event...
