accelerates? -- and you can keep up the flap with the lastest
FOXNews/ifeminist column, "Put Up or Shut Up" at
<http://www.ifeminists.com/introduction/editorials/2002/0709.html>. Or check
out the ifeminists.com main BB on this topic.

Political changes reduce honor killings
----------
Women's eNews

NYC is a mecca for abortion seekers
----------
Village Voice
by Jennifer Block
New York is the first city to require abortion training for
OB residents in public hospitals. It's also one of the
few places free of parental consent laws and mandatory
waiting periods. Getting an appointment in NYC is often
faster and cheaper than getting one closer to home. That
makes NYC a mecca for abortion seekers. (07/03/02)

Banned in Brisbane
----------
Reason
by James Morrow
Australia is now threatening to become the free world’s
leader in restricting anything that smacks of fun. For
example, school kids aren’t even allowed out at recess
unless their heads are covered, lest they become future
skin cancer cases: it is called the "no hat, no play"
campaign. (08/02)
http://www.free-market.net/rd/73429828.html
Rightwing political correctness strikes textbook
----------
The Dallas Morning News/AP
by staff

http://www.free-market.net/rd/368131976.html
License to kill -- men and women

Ideology still trumps science for some feminists
----------
Pacific Research Institute
by Sally Pipes
"Justice and fairness must be based not on hunches or
hearsay but on the best information. DNA testing helps
provide that information. Those who want to exclude its
benefits from child-support cases say a great deal about
themselves. The true test for those who say that they
want equal treatment comes when the equal treatment is
enacted into law." (07/08/02)
http://www.free-market.net/rd/988932669.html
Iowa Planned Parenthood under legal fire
----------
Women's eNews

http://www.free-market.net/rd/581171133.html
Feminists deface BBC pictures
----------
This is London
by Martin Delgado
"Official photographs of some of the BBC's most famous male
presenters and journalists have been defaced inside the
corporation's White City headquarters in an overnight
graffiti raid by feminists." (07/03/02)
http://www.free-market.net/rd/611353005.html
Under age and under seige
----------
Village Voice
by Sharon Lerner
Lerner finds Judith Levine's new book, "Harmful to Minors:
The Perils of Protecting Children From Sex" to be
"utterly reasonable." So why is Levine being portrayed
in the media as "a crazed pedophile?" (07/03/02)
http://www.free-market.net/rd/681373998.html
Trudy Schuett on CA NOW's report
----------
Sierra Times
by Trudy Schuett
"I felt that sooner or later, their [NOW's] arrogance and
disregard for reality would lead one of them to do
something that so clearly and publicly revealed their
anti-male hate agenda, that no spin on the part of any hired PR
girl could explain it away. I believe this Family Court Report is
it." (07/05/02)
http://www.free-market.net/rd/795336197.html
Industrial capitalism liberates working mothers
----------
Hawaii Reporter
by Stuart K. Hayashi
"[L]aissez faire and the Industrial Revolution are a
working mother’s best friends. When people say that
American women are more liberated now than they were
throughout much of history, it would be great if they
acknowledged that our machines and economic system
helped make it a reality." (07/05/02)
