Hello ifeminists:

It has been a busy week at ifeminists. On Sunday, Sunni Maravillosa
became chat-meister of the jointly-sponsored ifeminists/mensactivism weekly
chats <http://www.ifeminists.com/interaction/chat>. If you missed the
opportunity to say "hi" to Sunni, you can remedy this faux-pas by attending
the upcoming chat on April 14th at 9:00 p.m. EST. Our guest will be James
Hanback who will discuss his editorial on domestic violence committed by
women, which is currently posted on the ifeminist front page.

And while you are reading James' path-breaking article, check out a new
feature: letters to the editor -- a/k/a me. Letters of criticism as well as
praise will be published weekly with the readers' names appended only at
their request. Then enter our ongoing contest for a chance to win a piece of
19th century ifeminist history.
<http://www.ifeminists.com/interaction/contest/index.html>

I am excited to announce that "Liberty for Women"
<http://www.independent.org/tii/catalog/cat_LFW.html> -- the much praised
anthology of ifeminism -- is now shipping in both PB ($18.95) and HC
($30.00) from the publisher. We are offering a personalized and autographed
copy to anyone who makes a donation of $40 to ifeminists.com. Contact
mac@ifeminists.com.

I will be speaking on behalf of ifeminists.com and Bureaucrash on
Saturday, April 13th at the Ohio LP Convention
<http://www.lpo.org/convention.html> in Akron, Ohio. Come and say "hi."

Now ... onto the main event...

                             -- Wendy McElroy, mac@ifeminists.com
