as Committee members; The Free Speech League letterhead (1902, no writing)
with the likes of Benjamin Tucker listed as Committee members; an oversized
Portrait Souvenir with photos of the Clarion Club Lecturers for 1903,
including Charlotte Perkins Gilman and Marion Craig Wentworth. You *must* be
a member of ifeminists.com to enter -- but membership is easy, fast and
free. <http://www.ifeminists.com/cgi/join.cgi> Enter at the upper right hand
section of our front page <http://www.ifeminists.com/interaction/contest/>
for the prize that will be awarded at the end of April. Good luck!
Last week's query about how to deal with the hostility toward women
displayed by some segments of the Men's Movement drew an overwhelming
response. My apologies for not answering the emails yet. Let me assure
everyone, however, that we're not backing away from equality for men under
the law, especially family law. Nor have we lost any good will toward
mensactivism.org, James Hanback, Glenn Sacks, Scott Garman -- and *all* the
terrific men without whom this site would not be as much fun! More on this
in coming weeks ...
"Liberty for Women" -- the ifeminist anthology I've worked on for
years -- will be coming out in a few weeks!! The pre-publication buzz is
wonderful -- e.g., Institute for Humane Studies has order 250 copies to
distribute free at their seminars. Check out the amazing endorsements.

If anyone is attending the Ohio LP conference over the weekend of
April 13th, say "hello" to Brad and me. I'll be speaking on ifeminism and
reasons for political optimism on Saturday morning.
Now ... onto the main event ...
