Hello ifeminists:
Another Tuesday and another day laboring over a hot computer!
Nothing compared to the excitement of next Tuesday of course. On
November 5th, I will be balancing a tub of over-buttered popcorn on
my lap as I switch impatiently from news channel to news channel in
search of the latest results, the best commentary on the State-side
election. It is good that Hallowe'en intervenes so I can become
practiced at shrieking in horror.
TANSTAAFL (There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch) but I
hope everyone is aware of the free services offered by
ifeminists.com. What are they? I'm glad you asked. Send a free e-card
<http://www.bureaucrash.com/cgi/card.cgi>; browse our database of
information by clicking on the "information" button at the top
right-hand corner of the front page; go to the contentious and
rollicking Bulletin Board by clicking on "interaction"; read the
background essays online at "introduction"; or, read our weekly
editorials posted every Tuesday.
Speaking of which...the editorials are up! My FOXNews/ifeminist
column is entitled "Flawed Court Report Reveals Feminist Desperation"
<http://www.ifeminists.com/introduction/editorials/2002/1029.html>;
"Paternity Justice Act of 2002 Had Little to Do with Justice" by my
infamous dinner companion and staunch ifeminist Kirsten Tynan
<http://www.ifeminists.com/introduction/editorials/2002/1029a.html>;
"Men Join Women in Quest for Perfection" by Tresa McBee who is fast
becoming a regular
<http://www.ifeminists.com/introduction/editorials/2002/1029b.html>;
"Re-Evaluating the Risk of Breast Cancer" by the much welcomed Rondi
Adamson
<http://www.ifeminists.com/introduction/editorials/2002/1029c.html>;
and the usual top-drawer piece by Glenn Sacks, "The Teachers' 'Code
of Silence'"
<http://www.ifeminists.com/introduction/editorials/2002/1029d.html>.
Enjoy.
Those who are interested in tapes, an audio documentary I wrote
concerning Mary Wollstonecraft's "Vindication of the Rights of Woman"
<http://store.yahoo.com/know-products/onlibvinofri1.html> is now
available. Other titles that might be of interest are posted on my
website <http://www.zetetics.com/mac>.
Now...on to the main event...
