Hello ifeminists:

Check out a new feature: the free ifeminist e-card
<http://www.bureaucrash.com/cgi/card.cgi> that you can use to send a
message, both personal and political. Like the card says, "the future
belongs to ifeminism!" Thanks to Jason T. for the design.

Remember to enter the free ifeminist contest
<http://www.ifeminists.com/interaction/contest/index.html> for June which is
posted on the ifeminsit front page. Any member is eligible to enter
(becomeing a member is free and simple) and the prize is a choice of 15
books currently on our shelf. Good luck to you.

I welcome a new columnist to the front page of ifeminists.com: Irene
the Irate Ifeminist. A tad on the touchy side, Irene addresses the subject
of menopause
<http://www.ifeminists.com/introduction/editorials/2002/0528c.html>. The
other columns for this week have been posted: my editorial "When Good Women
Do Nothing"
<http://www.ifeminists.com/introduction/editorials/2002/0528.html>; Glenn
Sacks' much-appreciated column "Kitaen Plays the 'Woman's Trump Card'"
<http://www.ifeminists.com/introduction/editorials/2002/0528a.html>; and
Cristina Alcivar's article "The Bare Truth" (thanks for your patience,
Cristina)
<http://www.ifeminists.com/introduction/editorials/2002/0528b.html>. Enjoy!

       This week's jointly-sponsored ifeminists/mensactivism chat room will
feature Ken R. Gregg who is a professional mediator, specializing in family
disputes such as child custody. An advocate of men's rights, Ken will
explore the issue of birth father's rights in connection with abortion,
adoption, and other child-related matters. The free chat is on Sunday, June
3rd, 9:00 p.m. EST at <http://www.ifeminists.com/interaction/chat>. I'll be
there to say "hello."

Now, to be tedious, it is time for me to appeal once more for those
who are able to send in a contribution to keep this site maintained and
growing. We are non-profit and anything you contribute is tax deductible.
