Many of the issues that seemed important before September 11th, including individualist feminism, have faded into the background. As well they should have. But part of reclaiming life back from the terrorists is to resume the daily work of caring about the issues, large and small, that shape our society. Freedom is in the details. For a while I will be preparing two columns a week. The ifeminist column on FOX News will not be on feminism for the foreseeable future but will address the War. I will include a link to it in each InsiderUpdate. This week... <http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,35029,00.html> A different article, one that discusses a specifically feminist topic, will be posted on the front page of ifeminists.com on Tuesday afternoons. My continuing best to you and yours. -- Wendy McElroy, mac@ifeminists.com ==> News Reports <== 'Politically Incorrect' apologizes for political incorrectness ---------- Bill Maher, the irreverent host of late-night talk show 'Politically Incorrect,' apologized for saying some U.S. military actions were 'cowardly.'
