The ifeminist editorial, posted later today, is entitled "How to Ruin
a Man's Life" and chronicles a PC campus nightmare. Many thanks are due
Chuck Eimermann for permitting me run his "Abortion Conflict" article as
our first guest editorial (posted later today, as well).

Those of an extropian frame of mind can meet the fetching and
ifeminist Natasha Vita-More this coming weekend at the Extropy Institute's
Extro-5 Conference in San Jose. <http://www.extropy.org/ex5/index.htm> Tell
her "mac" sent you. Then give the secret signal. (It's a wink and smile.) ;-)

I will be speaking on Individualist Feminism, pornography, and
prostitution on the weekend thereafter (June 22-24) at Marymount University
in Virginia for the Institute for Humane Studies. I hope some of you will
be there.

Remember Father's Day on June 17th!

Now ... onto the main event ...

Judge orders man to cease premarital sex
----------
"Judge J. Manuel Banales of Texas, who made a name for
himself earlier this month after ordering registered sex
offenders to identify themselves with signs in their
yards, ruled that a 19-year-old probationer can't have
any more sex until he's married." (06/11/01)

Ship to offer off-shore abortions
----------
A Dutch ship which aims to provide abortions to women
outside the territorial waters of countries where
pregnancies are only terminated in exceptional
circumstances will sail for Ireland this week on the
first leg of a voyage likely to whip up a storm of
   protest. (06/11/01)

Critics say politics distorts findings in sex harassment study
----------
While a new study claims that a majority of children have
been sexually harassed in school, critics, including
Cathy Young and Christina Hoff Sommers, charge that the
study defines harassment too broadly and that political
   considerations distort its findings. (06/06/01)

Students taught to masturbate with fruit
----------
Parents are "livid." High school students who signed up for
a 'Women in Art' course at the University of Winnipeg
received tax-paid instruction on how to masturbate with
fruits and vegetables so that they do not "require men."

Wife is boss in new business model for couples
----------
"Men increasingly are joining their entrepreneur wives in
business and reporting to them. It's estimated that
twice as many men report to their higher-ranking wives
today as they did five years ago -- and their marriages
   are notable for
   their mutual respect." (06/05/01)

Sex business restrictions under fire in Nevada
----------
A new ordinance that regulates sexually oriented businesses
in North Las Vegas drew criticism from the ACLU, which

3-D fetal images may influence abortion debate
----------
New 3-D imaging machines offer detailed pictures of

Beware the bitches!
----------
by Joelle Diderich

The next wave of office politics: 'second-hand harassment'
----------
by Wendy McElroy
Notions of government-regulated sexual harassment in the
workplace have been expanded to the point that simply
viewing an "offensive" image or reading an "offensive"
book may be classified as creating a "hostile work
   environment." (06/05/01)

----------
by David Horowitz
Horowitz's article, "The Plague Abettors," marks the 20th
