Fourth Week of December, 2001
I know what you're thinking.
It's December 24th, and there's an Action of the Week column in
your mailbox.
Is Knapp out of his mind or something? Who's going to do political
stuff on Christmas Eve?
Well, probably nobody (except, perhaps, those who are not busy,
having avoided political activity for Chanukah or Solstice, or who
don't start celebrating Kwanzaa until the day after tomorrow).
And that's okay. Really, it is. I just wanted to drop you a note
to let you know how much we appreciate you here at Free-Market.Net,
and to wish you a happy holiday.
We've been doing what we do here since 1995. I've been fortunate
to be part of it since early 1996. Throughout that time, you, our
members and readers, have sustained us as we've helped to build
the freedom movement, and we're thankful.
We're also proud. With our five "channels," more than 125 partner
organizations, the most comprehensive directory of freedom
information on the net (more than 23,000 resources and growing)
and the success of our email features (more than 100,000
subscriber emails sent every week), we are, more and more,
_the_ freedom portal.
And we're only just beginning. While you're celebrating your
holidays, we will be doing so as well -- but come the new year,
you're going to see even more of the features that brought to you to
Free-Market.Net and keep bringing you back.
The work of freedom is an endless march, and I am honored to be
sharing the trail with people like yourselves. Have a safe holiday,
give our regards to your families, and I'll see you next week to get
started on 2002!
